
A Nigerian boxer named “Olanrewaju Segun Success” passed away at Ghana’s Bukom Boxing Arena

The forty years old collapsed during his bout with Ghanaian boxer Jon Mbanugu on Fight Night 15 of the Ghana Professional Boxing League and was declared dead at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra last Saturday.
He seemed to be having trouble breathing, so the Bukom Boxing Arena’s medical staff hurried into the ring, took off his gum shield, and tried to revive him. After that, he was taken to the hospital, where he was declared deceased.
After a court order regarding the Nigerian boxer’s death, the autopsy was carried out on Wednesday, April 2.His remains will not be sent to Nigeria for burial for around two weeks, according to Aboderin, because more research into his cardiac condition is necessary.
